Two day class, December 10 & 11, 9AM to 3 PM each day. Runs at the same time as the Mixed media show at the MAC that I am honored to be a part of as well as many other amazing mixed media artists.
A new interpretation of the ancient art of sculptural relief carving, painting and encaustic wax with a contemporary twist of adding ephemera objects in this intuitive technique. Using low cost materials you will learn how to create a relief using easy to carve spackling. Then we add color and narrative through paint and objects, finishing with a soft coat of encaustic wax.

The Soul of Objects is the theme for my one person show at the Santa Rosa Person Center located behind the Finley Center, 2060 W. College Ave, Santa Rosa.
The reception is Thursday, December 8 5-7 pm. Please join me to celebrate this show!
My artwork will be on display at the Santa Rosa Person Senior Center December 6, 2016 through January 19, 2017 on the upstairs walls and glass cases downstairs. To find it - simply enter the Finley Center main doors and proceed through the lobby and outside past the fountain to enter the Person Center. The glass cases are surrounding the fireplace on the right. The wall hung pieces are upstairs on both sides of the main hallway.
The Artwork of Graton Artist, Judson King Smith is highlighted alongside my art in my studio. Jud uses a variety of materials to highlight political and social issues.
